Important Notes

• Biweekly report, hard copy for now
• Peter (TA) will show MEs how to set up website with CMS next Tuesday
• Email Dr. Amin whenever new meeting minutes are posted to the website
• Dr. Shih and Dr. Amin willing to help look over our grant proposal
• Dr. Shih wants us to learn new things and make it to competition this year!

• Peter will give us a walkthrough on what to submit to CMS to set up our COE website
  • Date TBA, hopefully next week, on Tuesday
• Meeting minutes should be done (at these meetings) by rotation
• Bring a Biweekly report to these meetings to bring Dr. Amin up to date on progress
  • Hard copy, but may be able to submit digitally once BB is set up properly
• Needs Assessment due Thursday online, if no BB available a hardcopy should be submitted
• We will receive credit for team building assignment, submit hard copy to Dr. Amin
• Told them that we do not need to present to Dr. Frank
  • We will try to get as many ECE advisors as possible to ME meetings
  • We are responsible for getting our advisors to attend if possible
  • They will try to get a finalized schedule out as soon as possible for our advisors' benefits
• Told them that Dr. Frank just wants a copy of our deliverables when they're due for ME
• Dr. Amin will meet with Dr. Frank to speak with him personally about what's going on with ECEs as well
• Gave him a hard copy of our Needs Assessment
  • Told him our needs assessment references last year's requirements
• Told him where we are on the project
  • Working on getting it apart
  • Need to make it easier to access (over two hours take apart and put together)
  • Overweight
  • Voltage regulator issues
  • First two weeks: come up with new design for frame, new design for voltage regulators
  • New design will reduce in-water wobble, make it easier to access electronics
    • ME design will largely recreate part of the body, but as much will be kept as possible
    • Changing the layout of the machine to make less front-heavy
    • Sub must be kept completely level throughout competition
• Major problems to address

• Haven't had a chance to talk with Michael Greenleaf
• They would be willing to look over our grant proposal
• Dr. Shih wants us to go to competition as our sponsor
• Scheduling on Gantter is a good way to see our progress, wants to see it
